WHAT OTHER PATIENTS HAVE TO SAY...

Dear Dr. Wright and staff,
Re: Gall bladder removal, 12/06
I want to thank you all for the level of care that you provided to me during what was a very trying season of my life. When it came time for surgery (having never had one before!) I really did not know what to expect; your knowledge, skill and compassion set me at ease and I felt very protected in your hands. I cannot express how grateful I am for that, and to be feeling like myself again. Thank you all for your dedication. May God continue to bless you in your practice.

Dear Dr. Wright,
Thank you for being not just a good surgeon but a nice guy too. Thank you.

Dear Dr. Wright,
Thank you! It feels good to feel good! With a grateful heart...

Dear Dr. Wright,
We thank you for the wonderful care and concern [my husband] received from you and also your staff. We are also grateful that you lifted all before the Lord's throne of grace prior to the surgery. You truly are God's servant.

Dr. Wright,
I sure hope you realize what a great staff you have. Kim with her smile and remembering patient's names when they come in. Patty - she is such a sweetheart. She makes all the bad stuff ok. There are not enough words to tell you how grateful I was you had Patty. I enjoyed my visits. Even though I do not look forward to needing you again, if it does happen, I know I will be right there. You are top notch. I'll miss seeing you all!

Thank you for being so patient with me. Your staff is wonderful and so are you. God bless you.

Dear Dr. Wright,
Thank you for being there and for providing such excellent care to my husband. We are forever grateful for all you have done for us - you not only saved my husband's life, but mine as well...

Dr. Wright,
I would like to thank you for being such a fine doctor to my son one week ago. Equally important to use, besides surgical skill, is a good bedside manner. You have both qualities. We never felt rushed by you. It may have been your "thousandth appy" but this was our wonderful son's first time for a surgery. I know you had a busy on-call weekend away from your family, but we're glad you were there for our son's emergency. May God bless you and your family.

Hi
Thank you so very much for a new life and eating lots better. And for saving my life and giving my husband and I lots more life together. I owe my life to you.

Dear Dr. Wright,
Your skill, caring, friendliness and generosity is deeply appreciated. You have really been a God-send to us. The thoroughness of your internal exam and treatment to prevent the serious stomach ailments that were identified in their earlier stages are remarkable. A special thank you for the antibiotic series of 2 weeks. We all thank God for your care, both physically and emotionally. God bless and keep you always.

Dear Dr. Wright and staff,
Sept 6, 1994, Dr. Wright repaired by hiatus hernia by laparoscopic surgery. Since 2 years has passed, I believe Dr. Wright should be informed of my medical progress. Before the surgery, my sleep was often interrupted by heartburn and stomach acid in the throat, and did not dare to eat food 2-3 hours before going to bed. Also, I had to sleep with my head and upper body elevated. Any spicy food caused severe heartburn. Frequent intake of Tums, Rolaids and Mylanta day and night was the norm. When my breathing began locking up (usually after swallowing a bite of food), I made an appointment with Dr. Wright, who then recommended laparoscopic surgery. How thankful I am that I elected for this surgery! I now sleep without elevating my head, even a pillow is not necessary. No more anti-acid tablets, in fact, I have not had heartburn once since this surgery 2 years ago. But best of all my improvements is how much more calm and happy I became without all those former miseries! I THANK YOU DR. WRIGHT, for recommending this surgery and extending my life here on earth!

Dr. Wright and staff,
Thank you for your excellent care! Going through these surgeries - especially the gallbladder one - was very frightening for me but your wonderful sense of humor helped to calm me - and get me through it all. I most certainly will recommend you to anyone I know who faces surgery. Once again - thank you!

Dear Dr. Wright,
On Sunday, March 29th, you saw my brother-in-law for necrotizing fasciitis. First of all, I want to thank you for saving his life! So far, he is hanging in there and is making steady improvements. Secondly, I wanted to thank you for not only explaining this debilitating illness to our family, but for also taking a few minutes out of your busy schedule to talk to our children and nieces about the dangers of doing drugs. We as parents, stress the importance of staying away from anything that your body can become addicted to. It made a big impression on the children that were there that a doctor who is so busy would take a few minutes out of his day to talk to our kids. We have heard then talk about you continuously. You are a hero in their book and in mine too. Thank you ever so much. Your thoughtfulness and example will be remembered by us always.

Dr. Robert Wright,
I am expressing my gratitude to you for the surgery you had performed on my hiatal hernia in March. It was a rough recovery but the outcome of the surgery has been wonderful. I felt very comfortable as a patient because of you explaining the procedure so precisely and taking the time to assure that I understood the operation. I really cannot explain to you how happy I am about having the surgery. I forgot about the food that I could not eat for years that are very good for me such as fruit, and now I can eat such a variety without having to take medication or suffering from heartburn. I no longer have to sleep with two and three pillows and wake up with acid reflux in the middle of the night. I can bend over without the acid coming up and burning my stomach and throat. I could go on and on but I do not want to bore you, and if you want to show this letter to any of your patients that are thinking about this surgery, please feel welcome to do so it may ease their mind. Again, I would like to say thank you for your tenderness and assurance as your patient and I would recommend you to others as a wonderful doctor.
